Should I Upgrade?

Windows 10…Should I Upgrade?

The most common question we are being asked lately is should I upgrade to Windows 10?

The short answer is no.  Computer Whatever is recommending their clients to wait until the major bugs have been worked out before upgrading.  When Windows 8 came out, there were a lot of unhappy people.  It wasn’t until many many months later that they put out the Windows 8.1 upgrade that only solved some of the many bugs.

The main reason we are asking clients not to upgrade is because it is not compatible with all applications or programs…Yet.  Another reason we are not having you upgrade is that by agreeing to Microsoft’s end user license agreement you are allowing them to have access to ALL of your data:
“Finally, we will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary.”

Already Upgraded? No Problem.

Have you already upgraded to Windows 10 and regret it?  No problem, you have 30 days to downgrade back to your previous operating system.  Take it on in to Computer Whatever and we will help you downgrade!
